Fresh back from our trip to NYC and I'm absolutely BUZZING to share the content with you guys, from shoots to collaborations, city guides and food tips - there is going to be SO much New York (and Boston) content going on round these ends in the next few weeks so I hope you gals don't mind and stick around for the ride - if there's anything in particular you'd like to see just let me know! Right now, let's talk about the DREAMY Maritime hotel!...

What does the hotel have to offer? From the second you walk into the West Chelsea Maritime Hotel, you'll notice the laid back yet chic vibe of the hotel, along with the nautical theme - with a romantically lit lobby and velvet sofas, the colour scheme and ambience of the hotel is stunning! We were made to feel at home the second we arrived at The Maritime, once we'd checked into our room we set off to explore the surrounding area (the hotel is in the PERFECT location - more on that below!), the hotel also has a breath-taking restaurant and chic nightclub located under the hotel that are both well worth checking out!

Why The MaritimeFrom the spacious rooms, to the incredible location, free WIFI throughout the hotel - there isn't much this hotel doesn't have to offer to be completely honest. We absolutely adored our stay at The Maritime and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visit NYC - I for one, know that I'll be heading back to the hotel one day and absolutely cannot wait to return!

What room do I go for? During our stay at the Maritime we were SUPER kindly upgraded to the Terrace Penthouse, which I can confirm is quite possibly the most beautiful penthouse EVER. Myself, Ben and Kat wondered up to check out the room before heading out to Chelsea Market for food and all of us were absolutely WOWED by the suite when we walked in, from the open plan lounge area, to the roof terrace and marble bathroom - this room really was the DREAMThe hotel offers 121 Superior Rooms, 2 Junior Penthouses, 2 Terrace Penthouses and 1 Rooftop Penthouse (approx. 2,500 square ft!!!).

How much will it cost me? The Superior Room starts from: $225 (approx. £173), Junior Penthouse: $525 (approx. £405), Terrace Penthouse: $925 (approx. £714) and the Rooftop Penthouse: $1225 (approx. £945).

The surrounding area: Located in the West Chelsea district, the hotel is just a stones throw away from some INCREDIBLE restaurants, quaint bars and boutique shops - talk about having the very best of NYC on your doorstep! The hotel is pretty much opposite the Chelsea Market - a great spot for trying out new foods, grabbing a glass of vino and picking up some gifts from local artists and designers (I'd highly recommend a visit if you're heading to NYC soon!). The hotel is also just a few minutes walk from the Highline - something I'd definitely recommend you do during your visit to New York for EPIC views of the city! At The Maritime; you're also super close to several subways which you can easily navigate your way around the city from!

The Maritime is GREAT for: Location! As I mentioned above; the hotel is in the BEST location as the meatpacking district is by far my favourite area of New York and one I'd definitely recommend you check out! As well as stunning decor and a chic ambience, the hotel is also home to Tao Downtown (a super swanky dining room, bar and nightclub!), and La Sirena (the hotels restaurant which is split into a Michelin starred Italian restaurant and the bar room which is great for tapas and cocktails!).

Have you ever stayed at The Maritime hotel? Is this somewhere you could see yourself booking? Would you like to stay in the Chelsea area?

*Thank you to The Maritime hotel for helping us to organise our stay during our trip to New York!
