A Girls’ Day Out To Bicester Village With Trainline

Revealing the truth behind the BEST way to travel this summer and a girls’ day out to Bicester Village!...

Sooooo, if you guys are avid FMIF fans then you'll have read this post two days ago about the BEST way to travel around the UK and Europe with Lintenair. Did you see the video featuring Poldark-fave Eleanor Tomlinson?!

But... I kind of have a confession to make;  there might have been a cheeky white lie within the post…. Nope, not the benefits of Lintenair which included no baggage weight restrictions, no queue system and the fact that you can manage your booking and travels from your mobile phone, that was all 100% truthful.

The part that wasn't truthful was the fact that all of these wonderful benefits belonged to Lintenair. Because, Lintenair isn't *actually a thing.

Lintenair is actually an anagram of Trainline.

So, what I'm really trying to say is that everything I highlighted in my last post, actually already exists as a way to travel - right here with Trainline. The thing is; it's easy for people to overlook just how many positives  there are about train travel, or come with booking with Trainline or through their mobile app; you can travel to thousands of destinations across the UK and Europe; all the while staying in control of your own booking and travels through your smartphone, experience no queues, city-centre to city-centre travel, and pack unlimited (that's a solid YES from me!).

How cool is that?! So, the last two days of the Lintenair campaign have actually been highlighting the benefits of travel that already exist with Trainline. Ladies, it’s time to reconsider our travel options! I for one am SUPER excited to travel more with Trainline this summer (I use the app every week when travelling to London already - it's SO easy to use!).

- MOBILE TICKETS: Available for selected journeys serving over 50% of stations on the UK network (including Bicester Village, Birmingham and Chester) to help make train travel seamless and stress-free! To use mobile ticketing, simply purchase your ticket with Trainline and it will be send to your smartphone in the app! You can beat the queues and board the train straight away, simply scanning your ticket or showing it to the guards... SIMPLES!
SAVE MONEY: Trainline helps customers across Europe make more than 125,000 smarter journeys every single day, by bringing together fares from across the UK network into the app and website, so you can compare prices before you buy! By booking in advance with Trainline you can save on average a WHOPPING 43% by purchasing in advance vs the cheapest non-Advance fares!
SMARTER JOURNEYS: Trainline makes every journey easier, from speedy, seamless booking to saving money (they've got you covered girls!). Trainline is the ULTIMATE travel companion, using technology to help at every stage of your journey! Oh, and in case you thought it couldn't get any better? Try out the BusyBot feature which tells you how busy the front, middle and back of the train is, so that you have the best chance of finding a seat. ALL HAIL TRAINLINE!

So, now we've cleared that up; I'm going to take you on a girls’ day out with my photographer and absolute BABE of a friend Kat, we headed to Bicester Village with Trainline for a girls’ day of catching up, lunching and shopping! Here's what we got up to...

Using the Trainline app to book and download our tickets!

Did you catch the Lintenair video featuring Poldark-fave Eleanor Tomlinson?

Take a look at what myself and Kat got up to at Bicester Village in my latest YouTube video!

Have you girls used Trainline before? Did you realise how many bloody wonderful positives there were when travelling with Trainline?

Haha, how sneaky! But also so true – I definitely love train travel much more than flying! I also didn’t know that you could travel with e-tickets – I always thought you had to pick them up from the machines! I’ll definitely remember that for the next time I’m going somewhere with the train xx

I have still not been to Bicester village and I really want to – can’t say no to a day of shopping and lunching! Great to know about Trainline, I use them quite regularly (i actually really like trains) but I need to make use of this app and e-ticket business because printing them at the station is such a faff. Love that pink jacket!

I had never taken a train in my life before earlier on this year (at 20 years old!) & once I’d done it even just for the first time, I was so surprised at how easy it actually is and don’t know why I’d held off for so long! The Trainline app is an absolute gem, I actually enjoy getting the train now aha.. These photo’s are stunning and I’m absolutely loving your outfit, the pink jacket is sooooo lovely!

Secondly, I’ve never used Trainline before (which autocorrected to ‘Trainmen’ haha – which coincidentally I’ve also never used), but it really does sound great. I love how you shot the vlog by the way, so smooth and seamless!
