If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in Belfast and want to treat yourself then look no further, The Culloden has everything you could wish for, Open fires throughout, Cosy Nooks, Luxury Interiors and an amazing Gin Selection (Super important of course). It’s lovely around this time of year as it is strewn with Christmas decorations and feels ever so snug!
The Extremely photogenic Gothic Mansion is peacefully Situated 6 miles from Belfast City centre sheltered by the Holywood Hills and acts like a home away from home, as soon as we stepped through the grand entrance, receiving a very warm welcome, we knew we would feel at home here.

We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was absolutely HUGE! With high ceilings, a marble bathroom and the comfiest King coil cloud bed in the world, we were ready to move in. As soon as we stepped in the room we spotted the gorgeous view looking over Belfast Lough and the very well manicured gardens, it just screamed relaxation. The Bathroom was another wow factor, it boasted white marble throughout, glass enclosed showers and deep soaking tubs which I will admit I spent a lot of time in, sorry guys for your next water bill!!

Breakfast was just perfect; the choice of cooked or continental is always a plus because I’m fussy in the mornings and never know what I want to eat, we scoffed on full Irish breakfasts, boiled eggs and soldiers and ten tonne of Muesli. The Culloden pride themselves on using only local produce and you can certainly tell by the incredible flavours.
We booked in to try the A La Carte Menu on our Second night and the food was absolutely incredible! Run by Top Chef Paul McKnight The Mitre restaurant didn’t fail us, every last morsel was thoroughly enjoyed and not to mention the wine and Gin that followed.
