How To Style Statement Shoes

Styling up my favourite statement flats from Ted Baker! Words & pictures by Hayley...

I've always been a huge fan of Ted Baker, from their pastel hues, floral prints and delicate details, so when the 'Ljana embellished pointed toe flats' dropped onto my doorstep from Ted Baker I couldn't wait to style them! I've been loving wearing dusky pink lately (which is actually so unlike me as I never usually wear pink!), but I've been totally digging this sleeveless jacket from New Look (for just £22.49 too!). Lately I can't stop wearing faux leather trousers as I think they're just a little jazzed up from wearing jeans; my favourites are these New Look ones.

Nothing beats being cosy in the winter, so I'm a massive advocate for roll neck jumpers and staying snug! I picked this one up for just £9.99 from New Look and haven't stopped wearing it ever since, it's so, so comfy and goes with everything! As these shoes are such statement pieces I wanted to keep my outfit fairly simple and just added my pink H&M bag to complete the outfit!

Are you a fan of Ted Baker too? Do you like statement shoes? How would you style them up?

I love this outfit, those shoes are so pretty. I’ve got a bit of a thing for shes, and have filled an entire wardrobe with them at home, but I wonder if I can sneak these ones past my husband (who has now imposed a one in – one out rule – eek!).

Ah thank you love! Haha I love that – I think you can definitely sneak them in and just pretend you’ve had them for ages! 😉 x
