A closer look inside one of London's Bumble and bumble salons; Radio in Shoreditch! - Words & images by Hayley F...
|LET'S TALK ABOUT THE SALON & THE CUT...|
Radio Salon uses Bumble and bumble products (which I have always been a huge fan of!). They have all of their products lined up as you walk inside the salon, so I spent a few minutes having a browse (my absolute favourite range is ‘Surf’ as I love the texture it gives to your hair, I’m also a huge fan of the Dry Spun finishing spray). Shortly after I was greeted by stylist, Adrianno, who was super friendly and spent a good ten minutes discussing exactly what I had in mind for my cut (which I find is rare!).
I was then whisked downstairs to have my hair washed, I was talked through exactly what products they were using, why they were using them and the effect they will have. Most importantly they gave me an amazing head massage, which helped me relax after a busy day and prep for birthday shenanigans!
Adrianno talked me through the whole cut, confirming the amount he was chopping off before he did so. He explained the best way for me to blow dry my hair, to help maintain the volume I was after (the complete opposite to how I normally dry my hair... oops!). He then used a curling iron to give me some loose beach waves, which added to the finishing look.
I was so happy with the result following my cut and blow dry and the curls kept all night! From the minute I walked into the salon, I felt like I was going to be well looked after, so if you were looking to have your hair cut I would highly recommend visiting Radio Salon. If Shoreditch isn’t an ideal location for you, then they have a salon in the heart of Broadway Market or a blow dry bar at Fenwick on New Bond Street!
