Birchbox Store; SoHo, 433 West Broadway, New York, NY 10012
So, first off - just a heads up, I've just touched down from NYC, jet lag is rife and I have a tonneeeeeee of stuff to share with you all! Myself and Kat have just come back from the most incredible trip and we snapped everything, I have so many NYC related posts coming up so I hope this of interest if you love NYC as much as me or if you're planning to visit soon. If you're not interested, well, then... sorry! <3
Whilst we were in NYC we were lucky enough to visit the Birchbox HQ which I'll be sharing snaps below - it was such a beautiful space (they even had a swing in the office… how cool?!) and you could feel such a positive, energetic vibe in the office! After walking around the office I noticed a tonne of pink Nike trainers propped on peoples desks, I asked if they were there for a reason and was told that once employers have worked at the company for a year they each get a pair of pink Nike trainers which say 'sneaking up on a year'… amazing, huh?! (So, just in case you didn't already want to work at Birchbox HQ, you do now, right?!).
After a your of the head office we wandered down to soho (a must if you're looking to shop whilst in NYC!), to see the Birchbox store… and ohmigod it's Instagram HEAVEN! The space is huge, all high ceilings and cool wall art, a giant 'BYOB' (build your own Birchbox) in lights - the store was just so incredibly picturesque! I absolutely loved the build your own Birchbox concept - it's a great insight to the brand and what they have to offer if you aren't familiar. They've separated products into categories such as; make up, skincare & hair care etc. You can pick one thing from each category and build your own box for just $15, or you can pick five things from any category (i.e five things from make up - great shout as their makeup picks were awesome!) for $25. They had 3 beautiful different box designs to choose from when building your custom box! I love this concept and think it's a must when in NYC!
Pick'n'mix beauty products… every girls dream?! *inserts hearts in eyes emoji*
Looking way too happy to be enjoying the office swing, I love this concept! I truly believe that a creative work space creates a better work ethic!
