3 Hotels You NEED To Stay At In Barbados

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The first of my Barbados posts went live the other day (here in case you missed it!) - it was basically me just gushing about how much I LOVE the island and how I can't wait to return one day to collect the piece of my heart that I left there! Today I wanted to share with you the three beautiful resorts that we stayed at during our trip in case you're thinking of visiting and are looking for somewhere to stay! I've got all bases covered, let's do this...

THE FAMILY FRIENDLY RESORT - SAVANNAH BEACH HOTEL...

Located just 20 minutes from the airport on the south coast of Barbados; the Savannah Beach Hotel is the perfect family friendly destination with a kids club, teen hangout den, family games room and 2 swimming pools (what more could you want?!) With plenty of activities at the all inclusive resort catering for all age groups, this is a great resort for both parents and kids (all inclusive bar… rum punch on the beach anyone?!)...

SWIM WITH TURTLES!...

During my stay at the Savannah Beach Hotel I took a trip across to their sister hotel; Almond Beach Resort where I spent the day lounging by the pool and swimming with turtles… say whutttttt?!

The hotel organises excursions where you can spend a few hours (rum punch in hand… standard!), on a catamaran boat trip spotting turtles! The glass bottom is epic as they will swim underneath the boat which is great for snaps, I was so gutted that I didn't have my Go-Pro but I managed to get some great shots of the 3 turtles we spotted and fed!

If you're visiting Barbados, I couldn't recommend this trip anymore - it was such a magical moment to witness the beautiful turtles!

ALMOND BEACH RESORT

Almond Beach is located 45 minutes from the airport and just half hour from Bridgetown on the West coast in the parish of St Peter. The hotel is also a family friendly, all-inclusive resort with kids and teens club and six swimming pools across the resort!

The hotel sits on a stunning stretch of beach that offers daily water sports and boating activities (including the turtle trip which is a must!!).

THE LUXURY RESORT - SANDALS...

I genuinely don't know where to start, I've never stayed anywhere quite like Sandals before in my life! It's super luxurious but also feels like home from the second you arrive! Everything has been tailored with luxury, and love - from the welcome/leaving song the staff sing to you, to having a personal butler, and going above and beyond any expectations you ever had of the resort. I've already decided that I want to get married there (SOZ Ben, LOLZ). He doesn't know yet guys so let's keep that between us for now, yeah?!

I'm not going to give too much away because I'm going to be publishing a post on Sandals soon that I can't wait to share with you all - I have so many beautiful pictures and stories from our stay there that I'm itching to share with you all. I'm a firm believer that pictures can speak a thousand words so I'll leave these beautiful eye candy snaps for now, until the next post!...

The beautiful check in lounge for club members (you're greeted with champagne… say no more, right?!)

The best bath. EVER! I had a bath tub on my balcony which overlooked the sea, so of an evening I'd pitch up with a glass of vino and a book… bliss!

I loved these super-comfy giant loungers dotted around the resort! (perfect for photo ops too *says the inner blogger haha!).

THE BOUTIQUE RESORT - TURTLE BEACH...

Even though this resort consists of 161 junior and one bedroom suites the beautiful decor to me is that of a boutique hotel, from the chap playing the steel pans in reception, to the beautiful floral displays and homely feel of the rooms. Turtle Beach was the first resort we stayed at during our trip to Barbados and I couldn't love it anymore - the staff were so friendly and couldn't help us enough, the beautiful pool and beach was absolute #GOALS and the all inclusive food and cocktails were to die for! The hotel also offers all inclusive water sports, has 3 on site restaurants and bars and a kids club for the little ones! This hotel is an amazing all rounder that you should definitely look into booking if you're heading to Barbados anytime soon!

This guy playing the steel pans was just so happy and brought the best vibe to the hotel when you walked in!

You’ve captured Sandals so well – you can really tell how it’s both luxurious and yet inviting 🙂 The combination of the two really do embody the best of hotels! Have a wonderful week ahead 🙂
