A note on why I was so ready for a fresh start
On Sunday I published this post, I didn’t want it to come across too pessimistic, because that’s just not me. I’m a very happy go lucky person, I don’t worry about a problem until it really is a problem.
I was just in such a weird place, I felt like I was stuck in limbo. Like that really awkward phase in between Christmas and New Year.
But I wanted to share how I was feeling with you all, mainly to let you know I hadn’t dropped off of the blogesphere.
And in fact, there were also a few very exciting things going on during this time.
On Monday I moved to Angel, I’m settled in now and absolutely loving being a Londoner thus far. It’s so exciting to have so many amazing places right on my doorstep, waiting for me to explore. If you have any recommendations on anything London related, I’m all ears!
I also had a new blog design – whooooo! This is something that myself, and the oh-so-talented Phil from Pipdig have been working on for the last couple of months. I wanted to kick start my blog again in the New Year with a fresh start, what with moving to London it just seemed like the right time to re-launch.
This year I want to focus a lot more on lifestyle content, I love sharing my advice and tips posts with you guys. They are what I enjoy writing the most and also what seems to be most read, so you guys love them too!
There was also be a big travel element to my blog this year, I’ve been squirrelling away on a project that I came up with before Christmas and I’ll be revealing that to you guys soon so keep your eyes peeled, I already have a couple of crazy exciting trips planned that I cannot wait to share with you all!
In other news, I’m going to firmly get myself back onto that YouTube bandwagon this year, I started one a couple of years ago but was still working full time and never really had the time or skills to launch it properly.
This year I really want to up my game massively in all aspects of blogging, I want to teach myself to be a better photographer, to film and edit YouTube like a pro and generally just add some new skills to my belt – I function best when I’m being creative so I’m super excited to learn more!
Oh, and I also managed to bag myself the loveliest guy ever, who I’m now lucky enough to call my boyfriend (eek!), I don’t want to share too much just yet, but I’m sure you guys will get to meet him soon enough!
2016, I was so ready for you!!
