Christmas Gift Guide – Best Of: Fragrances

Soooooo, with just under 7 weeks until Christmas (ummmmm, sorry how did that happen?!) I thought it was time I started sharing my gift guides, I’ve only bought one present this year – which is so unlike me as I’ve usually finished by this time every year. The last few weeks have been such a whirlwind though I feel like my feet have barely touched the ground let alone though about my Christmas shopping! If you’re as unorganised as me or looking for inspiration then I’m hoping my gift guides will help you with your shopping, kicking off with my top pick of fragrances…

Ghost Deep Night Gift Set – £30: Ghost gift sets are always great value for money, and this set is no different – you can get both the Deep Night Fragrance and moisturiser for £30. I always think fragrance sets are a lovely Christmas gift as they are packaged lovely and you get more for your money. The Ghost Deep Night scent is an oriental vanilla fragrance which is seen as a ‘day to night’ perfume as it’s both sensual and passionate.

Elizabeth Arden Always Red Eau De Toilette – £38: This fragrance would make a great gift for a mum, aunty or nan – my mum has always been a fan of Elizabeth Arden and I always see it as such an iconic brand and a great for the slightly older generation. This perfume was inspired by the brightness of New York City and was designed for the bold, confident woman who likes to stand out from the crowd. With notes of blood orange, passion fruit accords and rose petal, this scent is ideal for any floral fragrance lovers!

Valentino Donna Eau De Parfum Spray £42.99: I’m a huge, huge fan of Valentino fragrances (Valentina is a personal favourite of mine!). This scent is a new launch from Valentino and has a hint of elegance, fragility and irreverence. Designed with a sensuous and independent woman in mind who is capable of sudden passion and unexpected shyness. A subtle, light scent with an alluring and profoundly Italian accord.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Eau de Toilette – £54: I’m always drawn to the Marc Jacobs fragrances, firstly because the packaging and design is always exuisuite, but also because the scents are always so fresh and beautiful! Daisy Dream is the newest launch by Marc’s newest dream girl; ethereal, innocent and free. Daisy Dream embodies a new take on being youthful, spirited and rotation – the scent is light and airy, yet both floral and fruity. With noted of fresh grapefuit, jasmine, lychee, white woods and coconut water, this fragrance is perfect for a teen or young adult!
Ariana Grande Eau de Parfum – £29.50: How cute is this perfume? I absolutely adore the pom pom attached to the lid and think this fragrance would make a lovely gift for a teenager! The scent opens with sparkling fruits and has an ultra-feminine florally spun with musks and wood scents.
Calvin Klein Euphoria Eau de Parum – £38: Calvin Klein fragrances will always be a classic choice in my eyes, my mum has worn their scents for years and it’s quite a fail safe option when it comes to gifting. Euphoria is an addictive oriental fragrance that contrasts exotic fruits with seductive florals and a rich, creamy signature. Made up of top notes; pomegranate, lush green accord and persimmon, mid notes of; lotus blossom, champaca flower and black orchid, complete with bottom notes of liquid amber, black violet and mahogany.

Avon Attraction For Her – £15:  A great budget friendly fragrance priced at jut £15! The newest fragrance from Avon is a long lasting scent with tempting blackberry, magnetic musk and vanilla amber. Also available for him too so it would make a nice couples gift or if you’re looking to buy for a partner, this scent would make a great stocking filler as the price is affordable!

Chloe SIgnature EDT – £62: I adore the Chloe scents and the Signature EDT is a personal favourite of mine, with scents of peony, lychee and rose this is a fresh and feminine fragrance. The packaging and bow detail make the perfume a beautiful edition to your dresser as it’s so pretty to look at!

Thierry Mugler Angel Passion Edition – £51.50: I’m an absolute sucker for Thierry Mugler Alien as it’s an all time favourite scent of mine, this new release is the Angel Passion Edition; another great scent from the brand! With notes of caramel, honey and praline this voluptuous oriental scent was created for glamorous and seductive women.
For him…
Ted Baker Skiwear Limited Edition – £18: I absolutely love the packaging of this scent as it looks far more luxurious than it’s £18 price tag – this fragrance would make a great stocking filler or gift for your man, brother or dad! With notes of smooth cedar wood and amber contrasted with intense ginger and orange, this is a lovely masculine scent!
