An Overnight Stay At Careys Manor; New Forrest And A SenSpa Experience!

A couple of weeks back I was invited to an overnight stay at Carey’s Manor in the New Forrest to enjoy some relaxation time in their incredible SenSpa with blogger babes; LornaFei and Jamie. I had such a lovely time with these girls, we all travelled to the spa together which was only just under two hours from London Waterloo which a great distance if you’re looking for an overnight break – this hotel was so worth the visit, I’m about to tell you why you need to visit…
Our beautiful SenSpa packages waiting in our rooms to help us relax!
 That bed though!…
The beautiful Cambium restaurant where we ate dinner!
The hotel had a lovely rustic charm!
Whilst the pool and spa area had a Thai feel to it!
Learning all about the SenSpa products from the founder over some yummy nibble!

Starters: Scallops with char-grilled Celeriac, Pear, Roasted Hazlenuts and Celery Cress – the best Scallops I’ve ever eaten!
Main: Beef Fillet and Slow Braised Cheek, Horseradish, Exbury Greens, Jersey Royals!
Dessert: Dark Chocolate Pave, Caramelised Banana, Thyme and Honey Ice Cream!
 Careys Manor from the outside!

So, did the pictures sell this place enough to you?! I was blown away the second we stepped off the train, I’ve never been to the New Forrest but it was so beautiful, and so green! The manor was so stunning and made a great first impression upon arrival, we all fetched our bags and checked into the room before enjoying a tour of the hotel.
We were then able to spend a few hours enjoying the pool and spa area (gossiping as us girls do!) before getting changed and heading to a presentation with SenSpa founder, where we got to learn all about the brand ethos and product range. I really enjoyed this part of the evening and was so surprised to learn that the price point for the products is really affordable! (they are stocked at Waitrose and prices start at just £3.95!).
After our presentation we headed to Cambium for the most delicious meal, the restaurant is inspired by the enchanted New Forrest and the food was just incredible! I had Scallops to start, Beef for main and a dark chocolate dessert! We drunk plenty of red wine and had a good old chat about blogging which was super interesting! After a lovely evening we turned in around midnight and headed back to our rooms for a great nights sleep!
We all met in the morning for cooked breakfasts and smoothies, followed by a facial massage workshop. Mid morning we all heading to SenSpa for our treatments, I picked the Sen Harmony Face & Body which was a 90 minute treatment consisting of a relaxing full body massage followed by a facial. It was honestly such an incredible treatment, my masseuse was firm but it was still relaxing – I felt like I floated out of the spa once my 90 minutes was up!
The SenSpa is an award winning spa and was voted ‘Best Spa in the South-East 2014’ by the Good Spa Guide, after visiting the spa I can completely understand why it was voted for! The spa is heavily influenced by the East and Thailand, from decoration, to massage techniques and over half of the masseuses are also from Thailand to keep the spa authentic. Make sure you check out the SenSpa spa breaks as I’d highly recommend a trip and would genuinely go back to the hotel just to use the spa!
After our treatments we headed to Zen Garden; the hotels Thai restaurant for a delicious lunch before we set off on our journey back to London! I came back from my trip super relaxed, with a wealth of knowledge and interest in the SenSpa products  – I have been using the products ever since and my favourites include the SenSpa body wash clear the mind (a great one to wake you up in the mornings!) and the SenSpa detox muscle soak (perfect for relaxing!).
Have you used SenSpa products before? What is your favourite product?
