It’s Saturday night and you’ve got a few hours to kill before a night out with your girls/man and there’s nothing better than a little pamper time rather than rushing around to get ready at the last minute! I wanted to share my top beauty products for a Saturday night out and talk through how I love to spend my getting ready.
First of all moisturising is a good one to get out of the way so you can let it fully soak into your skin, after showering I pop on some pjs and give myself a coat of the Palmers Coconut Oil Body Lotion which I adore – if you’re running short on time or don’t enjoy moisturising then they have a great spray option too! One my moisturiser is soaking in I usually paint my nails and allow that to dry before starting on my hair and makeup – I’ve currently been loving the Models Own ‘Grape Juice’, a great transitional shade!
When it comes to my hair I’ll always wash it and blow-dry it with a nice treatment or oil in but I always use my Batiste XXL Powder to give my hair some volume so it’s not too silky smooth and flat and I also love the Batiste Dry Shampoo as it offers a bit of grit to my hair and gives it some life ready for my night out! To keep my tan topped up from Thailand I’ve been using the Vita Liberata Bronzing Minerals bronzing powder which I love and a quick spritz of my favourite fragrance; Alien and I’m ready for my Saturday night out!
I absolutely love dry shampoo and can’t remember life before it – I use it daily or clean or dry hair as it gives a great texture to my hair, the lovely Victoria from www.inthefrow.com has recently collaborated with Batiste to showcase their new ‘stylist’ products which include a Frizz Tamer, XXL Plumping Powder, Hairspray, Texturizing Spray, Heat & Shine Spray and XXL Volume Spray – so make sure you check out the video below for Victoria’s top tips on how to create natural waves!
