On Sunday I was kindly invited to Wireless Festival with New Look – I took my best friend Amy with me and we had such a blast! We arrived at the festival around 4pm (after a few dodgy weekend trains) and were so glad that the weather had brightened up – it turned out to be a super sunny day in the end which was such a result!

I opted for some high waisted skinny jeans as I was unsure of the weather and I also wanted to be comfy – they are the comfiest jeans I’ve ever worn! I loved the ripped knees and the fact that they are super high waisted as you can pair them with a crop top – for less than £23 these jeans are a staple! I chose to wear this amazing sheer lace top as I loved the style and it was a great choice as it was still cool enough to wear when the weather warmed up! – they also do it in cream too (shop here) which I might have to get for holiday as it’s only £20 and would look so nice over a bikini!

I picked out these hard wearing black boots as I didn’t want to get trampled on whilst dancing away to David Guetta (I always get really wary of wearing sandals to festivals!) and they were such a great option! They were super comfy to wear all day long and my feet weren’t actually too hot so I think these will be my go-to boots for festivals! Lastly I opted for this cute black tassel backpack to complete my outfit – I wanted to take a bigger bag so I could carry my camera and essentials with me – I love the style of this bag and have been using it non-stop ever since!

When we got to the festival we headed straight to the bar for a couple of rum and cokes then managed to catch all of Clean Bandit’s set which was amazing! We then set off to the New Look area where the DJ was playing some absolute corkers! The set was mainly old school R’n’B which we loved before heading back to the MainStage to watch David Guetta followed by Nikki Minaj – both were incredible! We left the festival around 10 and headed to work on Monday with very fuzzy heads, haha! If you’re looking for a day festival in London I’d highly recommend Wireless as it’s a blast and the line up is always great – for me New Look will always be my go to for festival clothes (and pretty much my entire Summer wardrobe this year too!).

Was security ok on the Sunday? I went on the Saturday and people were climbing the walls breaking…and I heard there was a stampede through the front gates on the Friday. It's a shame as it's such a lovely festival. Really hoping they make it feel safer next year and get more police / security x
