DEAR WANDERLUST

Wanderlust: A strong desire to travel

Dear Wanderlust,

You’ve always been a part of my life, of my everyday thoughts, squashed behind everyday tasks and pushed to the back because you weren’t my priority. I was working, focusing on my relationship and my blog, but you were always there and I was constantly aware of your presence. I always felt the desire to travel the world, to let my feet explore the unknown, the thrill of discovering the new – it’s what makes me feel alive more than anything.

I neglected you for too long and now I’m not about to turn my back on you again, I made a bold decision to hand in my notice to my amazing job and see what happens next. I’m taking my passport and my best friends hand and I’m ready to see what the world has to offer. There’s so many places I want to go, things I want to see and I’m full of excitement for the adventures that lie ahead and the incredible like minded people that I will meet along the way.

No longer will I ignore you or my desire to travel, for now I’ll be living for myself and fulfilling my need to travel the world – I’m ready to take my wandering feet and explore the unknown.

Wanderlust, I’m ready to let you wholeheartedly into my life – no longer shall I ignore you like a mere thought in the back of my mind, I’m ready to embrace you and let you change my life!

Next stop, rest of the world!

P.s I leave for Thailand and Malaysia in just under two weeks and will be blogging throughout my trip so I’ll be taking you guys with me and I can’t wait to share my adventures with you all! <3

arh, this is awesome! Looking forward to following your adventures (:
I'm actually also gonna be exploring a bit this year. In a month I'll be spending a week with my boyfriend in his hometown in France before travelling through China, and finally end in Hong Kong where I'll be working until Christmas. Gotta embrace that wanderlust (:

I went to Thailand last year and had the most incredible time! If you can try and get yourself to Koh Tao and do an open water divers course. It's well worth it and Koh Tao was the most beautiful place I visited whilst there. Enjoy your travels, I can't wait to see your photos <3

Check out my latest post over on..

I totally feel the same, every year I talk about how much I want to travel around Europe and America, or how I want to learn a language abroad – I NEED TO GO DO NOT JUST THINK
