On our second day in Thessaoloniki we woke to cloudier skies but we were off on lots of walking tours so this didn’t affect our beach day which was great. We started with a gastronomy tour around Thessaloniki’s local market; Kapani. We tried lots of delicious local good such as cheese, nuts, red wine and much more – the trip was an incredible experience and it was great to see the local culture and explore the town this way.

Once we’d finished at the market we had a few hours of free time so me and a few lovely bloggers hit the pool for some downtime before getting ready for the evening. We met up again around 5pm and embarked on a Handpeak tour where we visited five different creative spaces across the city, from a photography studio to a fashion designers workshop. It was a really interesting afternoon learning about the incredible creatives based in the city, my favourite stop had to be our visit to Make – a creative workshop where they can 3D print and laser cut just to name a few!

We ended our day by taking a trip to the top of the Opera House where we could see the beautiful views of the city, then we went for dinner in a huge function room which was great as we drunk lots of great wine and chatted for hours. We were all awarded with medals and there was lots of group blogger shots – an amazing end to an incredible day!

Stay tuned for my final instalment of our last day in Thessaloniki and Halkidi!

Love your lace jacket Hayley, such a lovely piece! What a great way to end a night in Greece, it must be awesome to see a new style of art in a different country.
