Slippers/cosy socks: I took our comfy hotel slippers with me for our flight home (I mean they were so comfy!) – I traveled home in sandals and always get really cold feet so make sure you take some nice cosy sock or slippers so you can feel more at home to help you stay relaxed.
Therapy balm: I recently went to a Space NK event where I was introcued to this Scentered Stress Less Therapy Balm and I can honestly say it hasn’t left my handbag since! It’s amazing to keep on you for work, commuting and use at any times you’re feeling a little anxious and need to calm. I took it on the flight with me and just applied it to my pulse points and I found it helped me to sleep whilst flying – they also retail at £14.50 which I think it an amazing price!
Take a good book: I always have a Kindle or book with me when flying a I like to kill at least an hour of my flight having some down time and reading! If you’re not a good flyer then take a book as it will help you get distracted from the flight itself! I always have my Kindle pre loaded with loads of great books so I’m never stuck without something to read during my trip or flight!
Noise cancelling headphones: I recently blogged about these Mobile Heads Noise Cancelling Headphones in my in-flight handbag essentials post as they are so perfect for flying, it’s like being in your own world as you literally can’t hear anything (including screaming babies and rowdy lads, winning!) so these will always be in my carry on bag for flying from now on!
