I haven’t done a ‘what’s in my bag’ post for a while now so I thought I’d do a little update! First of all I’m going to start with my beautiful grey *Radley Clerkenwell bag which I’ve been wearing tonnes lately as it’s just so nice! The shape is really structured which I think makes it look super luxe, it also has lots of compartments too which is handy for my iPad, phone and makeup! I attached my new keyring from *Pom Pom Poodle to my bag which I adore! Pom pom keyrings can really make a bag and it’s so great that you can chop it and change between them!
I usually carry my Ipad with me so I can write out copy for my blog posts on the go and reply to emails easier when I’m around Wifi, I currently have my *CaseApp black marble iPad case on there which I love (you know me with my marble obsession – this case fuels it just nicely!). They also have (really affordable) marble Macbook and iPhone cases too which you need to check out! Along with my iPad I always tend to carry a notebook as I love to keep one handy and jot down and ideas and inspiration when I’m out, I picked up this dreamy one from TK Maxx the other day for £4.99!
In terms of beauty I always carry a lip balm as the transition in weather lately is playing havoc on my lips (apparently cracked lips aren’t a thing) so I always carry my Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm which is super hydrating and has a really lovely peachy tone to it so it’s great to wear on it’s own also. I always have one lip product knocking around in my bag and lately the new Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Liquid Lipstick has been my go-to as it’s that ‘my lips but better’ shade, the formula is also so creamy it doesn’t dry my lips out at all and I find it’s super long lasting! I always keep my Paul & Joe Mirror handy too as it’s such a flat compact it slots in my bag easily and is a great size!
Lately I’ve been keeping a few bits of jewellery in my handbag, I’m always an extra 5 minutes in bed kinda gal when it comes to mornings so I find if I keep a few bits handy in my bag I just pop them on whilst on the train in case I run out of time when getting ready. I’ve recently been loving this Links of London Star Dust rose gold bracelet from Joshua James Jewellery (I know, I know – you were shocked that it was rose gold right?!), this bracelet is a real statement piece and I tend to wear it with plainer outfits as it makes a statement. I usually pair it with my Fossil Jacqueline Rose Gold watch as they look great alongside each other! Another piece I’ve been wearing lately is this super cute Daisy Jewellery ‘H’ Alpha Ring – it also looks great stacked with other thin bands too!
I also make sure I have my Delilah matte bronzer and Real Techniques Bold Metals brush on me at all times so I can touch up my makeup throughout the day and takeaway any shine. I’ve been loving the Delilah matt bronzer lately – I’ve been tanning a fair bit and it’s the perfect shade for my tone. If I’m not tanning I’ll always just pack a regular powder instead. That’s pretty much my handbag summed up, alongside my Michael Kors purse (it’s one of the long ones as it wouldn’t fit in the shot damn it!), as well as a few essentials such as tissue, mints, a mini hairbrush – nothing that’s too exciting to photograph!
Also, whilst I’m on the handbag subject it’s about time I introduced you guys to www.insuremyhandbag.com – with prices starting at £3.99 (cheaper than most phone insurances!) you can insure your bag and it’s contents (god forbid anything happened to them girls!). They also cover designer bags up to £1,500 and I’m thinking of insuring my Mulberry as I keep meaning to do it but just haven’t got around to it *slaps wrist but I would be heartbroken if anything happened to it, so for around £50 a year it’s well worth the investment knowing it’s covered if anything happened to it!
We are cheaper than most phone only insurance starting at £3.99 We cover designer handbags up to £1500
