The last two days I’ve spent at London Fashion Week, rushing around snapping street style, hanging out with some of my favourite bloggers, visiting the Apartment and getting the low down backstage at shows – it’s been a busy but fun few days! Today however, I’ve swapped the cobbles for my office so I can catch up on some blog posts, emails and I’m off out this afternoon to snap some outfit posts!
I thought I’d share my outfit to day 1 of LFW as it seemed to go down pretty well on Instagram (@Frockmeimfamous)! Primark is one of my favourite high street stores and you can find so many gems in there – so I when Primark asked if I’d like to wear some pieces from there I jumped at the chance. It’s so great to find some on trend pieces from a affordable high street store and for people to snap you for street style and lust over your shoes that they mistook for Whistles and only cost £14!
I found these culottes in store and thought they were a great staple piece (and only £14 too) so I snapped them up for my outfit and built around them. I found this navy sweater which I really liked also (£6!) – I opted for plain pieces to wear then wanted to dress it up with accessories. I saw this bag and straight away knew that I wanted to style it with my outfit, although they had a grey one too and a bigger size so the decision was which one to go for! This bag was £8 – which I still can’t quite believe! I had so many compliments on it and although I opted for the smaller size I was surprised at how much I could fit in it, think I may have to go back for the grey one too!
I layered up lots of gold necklaces so my jumper wouldn’t look too plain, the necklaces and bracelets I’m wearing ranged from £1.50-£3 but came in packs of 2-6 so I had loads of options for layering which was great! I finished off my outfit with my rose gold Fossil watch which I love and my sleeveless duster jacket from River Island which I haven’t stopped wearing lately!
What do you think of my outfit for day 1 at LFW? Stay tuned for what I wore to day 2!
