This is the final post in my Valentines gift guide series (and my personal favourite, if I do say so myself!). I previously put together posts for the Starlets and Sirens and today’s gift guide is for the sweethearts, a.k.a the girly girls who love everything pink, pretty and floral. I absolutely adore everything in this post and have to say that I am a slight girly girl myself!
I’m going to kick off this guide with the Clinique Limited Edition Kiss It Better Set as it’s a beautiful present and it’s for a wonderful cause! This set is £20 but every £10 + VAT goes towards the Kiss It Better appeal which funds research at Great Ormond Street Hospital and treatment of childhood cancer. I’m 100% behind this product, it’s so lovely to buy someone a nice gift that you also know is helping towards a good cause at the same time, money well spent!
Also, from my sweetheart makeup picks I selected this incredible rose gold Real Techniques Tapered Blush Brush from their recent #BoldMetals launch, the brushes are to die for and the rose gold ones are my absolute favourite! I selected the Clarins Joli Rouge Brilliant Lipstick in ‘Rose Petal’ as it’s the perfect rose pink shade and the application is beautiful as it’s super nourishing. For nails my top ‘girly’ picks are Mavala ‘Sweety’ (a lovely candy pink) and Orly ‘Kiss The Bride’ (a barely there pink that resembles ballet slippers – beautiful!).
A favourite of mine from this gift guide has to be this pretty floral Next Pheobe Print Balcony Bra, which also has matching briefs and a kimono style wrap which is also lovely, the complete set would make a wonderful gift this Valentine’s Day! For fragrance my top feminine pick had to be Chloe Love Story Eau De Parfum as it’s so beautiful, from the scent to the packaging – everything about this fragrance screams girly with a luxe feel.
The perfect candle pick had to be the Yankee Candle Fresh Cut Roses as rose is a renound feminine scent, and every lady wants their home to be filled with the scent of freshly cut roses! My last pick for this gift guide has to be the Soak and Sleep Luxury Silk Eye Mask in ‘Lotus Pink’ which is an absolute steal at just £6 (it’s currently on offer), it would make a lovely filler post if you’re going to prepare a small hamper or maybe buy it alongside some beautiful lingerie or nightwear!
Also, whilst I’m on the subject of gifts, if there’s any jewellery lovers out there then this idea will be right up your street! This Valentine’s Day PANDORA have created a clever Wishing Tree on their website, all you need to do is attach a love note or your wish to the tree and leave a bit of information on your jewellery preferences and who your Valentine is, et voila! PANDORA then send the love note to your Valentine with some suggestion based on your note! Once I heard about this idea I thought it was great, really ideal if you prefer to drop hints to your partner (not all of these boys can be trusted with gifts, eh girls!). Take a look at their Valentine’s collection and get wishing! 🙂
