Eat: Cafe Rouge, 24 Prince Albert Street.
This was actually the first time that I’d visited Cafe Rouge – me and two friends were aimlessly wandering around Brighton (hungover no less) looking for somewhere to eat, when we spotted the burger/pasta sign we were sold! Everyone knows carbs cure hangover like no other so I opted for a burger with bacon, mozzarella, tomato, onion and lettuce with chunky homemade chips and a side of BBQ sauce… perfect! I know this restaurant is a chain and not a niche individual food joint but it was great no less and I’ll definitely be returning.

Sleep: Thistle Brighton Hotel, Kings Road, BN1 2GS

Me and two of my best friends headed to Brighton for an overnight stay and some girly time before Christmas, we filled ourselves full of food, vino and laughs the whole two days and had a lovely time.  During our time away we stayed at the *Thistle Brighton Hotel and were all really impressed with our stay! We had a hugeeeee bed which was perfect for late night gossips, the service was wonderful and the breakfast sorted our hangovers out a treat! (I had waffles with maple syrup and the girls had a full fry up – yum!). I’d definitely recommend checking out this hotel as it’s right on the seafront the location is so central to all the shops, bars and restaurants!

 Shop: The Lanes

If you’ve never been to Brighton before you may think what on earth are the lanes but it will become apparent as soon as you visit! Brighton is made up of the North and South lanes – the north full of quirky shops, cupcake and burger joints and plenty of cool bars, the south lanes packed with the more expensive stand alone stores such as MAC, The White Company and COS. My favourite thing to do in Brighton is wander around the lanes, it’s great as you never quite know what you’ll come across but you’re always guaranteed to pick up a gem or too – also, if you love thrifting/vintage shopping then the north lanes are the place for you! Don’t forget to check out Snoopers Paradise too – a shop where you could easily loose an hour of your life in awe of everything, enjoy!

I decided to put together a little guide of my favourite parts of Brighton – hope you enjoyed it! I’m going to be running Eat/Sleep/Shop as a regular feature for places that I visit and think are worth sharing with you all – let me know if there’s anywhere you’d love me to feature!

What are your favourite parts of Brighton? If you’ve never been then you have to take a trip!
