2014 TRAVEL IN PICTURES & 2015 WANDERLUST…

March 2014: Thailand – Koh Samui…
Me and Rob headed back to Thailand for the second time in March, we spent 8 days in Koh Samui where Rob was working in a tattoo studio there. Koh Samui is a beautiful island – albeit a little touristy but incredible all the same.
March 2014: Thailand – Phuket…
We spent the last 8 days of our trip in Phuket which is truly breathtaking, we had the most amazing trip and can’t wait to get back to Thailand one day! There’s plenty more of the world for us to see yet though before we return!

September 2014: Paris…
September saw my first solo trip to Paris, I packed a carry on case and headed to the city for three days and had an incredible experience. If you’re looking to travel alone, I couldn’t recommend it enough, here’s my full post here. I’d love to travel alone again one day but I’m in no rush, just whenever the time/place is right!

October 2014: Amsterdam…

In October I headed to Amsterdam with a close friend for three days, we headed to watch the Libertines play and they were so good! We spent a few days exploring the streets of Amsterdam, shopping and eating/drinking plenty – it was a fun getaway! Me and Rob are actually flying back out to Amsterdam tomorrow for New Year with some friends which will be fun!

2015 travel goals…

New York…

I’m planning a trip back to the big apple with my best friend in March, I have been to New York twice – my first time was just for a day as I was visiting family in New Jersey and the second time was with university, a great trip but when there’s a big group of you, you tend to go with the majority vote and don’t see everything you wanted to. I’m looking forward to exploring NY on our terms as the city is just so magical!

Paris…

I surprised Rob with tickets to Paris in March, I bought him tickets to see Royal Blood whilst we are there which I’m super excited about, we watched them at Reading this year and they were incredible! I can’t wait to get back to Paris, it’s such a beautiful city – it will be Rob’s first time too so it will be great to explore it with him.

India…

Ever since visiting Thailand I’ve been itching to travel slightly further afield and I have to say that India is next on my wish list, I’m not sure that I’ll make it there this year (nothing like dreaming big, eh!) but I would love to take my backpack and go exploring – Goa is definitely somewhere I’d like to visit! If you’ve been to India or have any tips I’d love to hear them!

Barcelona…

Barcelona is somewhere that I’ve fancied visiting for the last few years, the city just really appeals to me and I’d love to visit this year. It would be great to visit in the summer at some point as we can fly there pretty cheap from our local airport – this would be a great budget city break!

Edinburgh…

Edinburgh is somewhere I’d like to visit next winter/Christmas time – it always looks so pretty (and cold) but somewhere that I could see myself falling in love with! Any tips on Edinburgh please send them my way too!

I was selected by Love Holidays to see if I’d like to enter their exclusive blogger competition which I jumped at the chance! I absolutely adore travelling and my wanderlust for 2015 is stronger than ever, if I win I’d love to take my dad away for a holiday as he has worked so hard this past year and deserves a break! Wish me luck 🙂
