What I bought from Outfit: Dress – *Miss Selfridge | Shoes – *Topshop
Rest of my outfit: Bag – Zara | Coat – *Oasis

A few weeks back I was invited down to the new Outfit store opening in the Mayflower Retail Park in Basildon. The store opened on a Friday and I popped in on the Saturday morning after the initial rush to check out what the store had to offer, being only around 15 minutes from my house this has-it-all store has definitely made a mark on my shopping radar!

If you haven’t heard of Outfit (like I hadn’t before my visit) then they are situated only in retail parks away from any high streets or shopping centers and they have all of the Arcadia brands under one roof. I genuinely spent over an hour browsing around the store and seeing what offerings they had! In the store you can find Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, BHS, Wallis, Evans and their was also an Oasis concession too. For the boys you’ll find Topman and Burton – which is great as they don’t have to sit and wait impatiently whilst you shop which kills two birds with one stone!

I was kindly offered a gift voucher for my visit in which I picked up a Miss Selfridge dress and some Topshop shoes (styled above) – I also picked up a jumper for Rob as the men’s selection was incredible. The store was really spacious and well laid out so you just sort of drifted between brands. I love the fact that all of the brands are housed under one roof, as a couple of the brands I wouldn’t tend to shop at as much such as Wallis but it’s surprising how many amazing pieces they have (especially the outerwear!).

They have just opened their 70th store which is amazing (take a peek at their Store locator to find your nearest store!) – if you get a chance to visit the Basildon store then I’d definitely recommend it, the staff are so incredibly friendly and really went out of their way to accommodate me, I hope you have one in your area as the store is definitely worth a visit! Also, all of the stock in store is current – when I first heard about the store I thought it was an outlet selling old season stock but all of the stock is current and in the individual stores which is great as you have everything you need in one destination, the perfect rainy day shopping experience I’d say!

Have you visited an Outfit store before?
