By the time day 5 of fashion week rolled round I was ready for my onesie and a lot of sleep truth be told! It’s funny because most people that I spoke to during fashion week always seem to say that by day 3/4 they are ready for it to be over, however, I am so glad that day 5 happened as I had a really fun day in the end!
I arrived backstage at the Anya Hindmarch show just after 9am and I absolutely have to admit I had no idea just how amazing the new collection was going to me. Me and my colleague Erica where practically squealing over the bags (as well as getting far too excited watching the run-through, and taking selfies in front of the set no less!). We luckily managed to sneak in and watch the show which involved a rotating catwalk, neon teacups and dancers in glow in the dark skeleton outfits – yes it really was that amazing!
After watching the show I headed off to the Ryan Lo presentation which was being held in the Topshop showspace, the collection/hair and makeup was all mermaid inspired (which I was loving!). The glitter pots from MAC used on the eyes were incredible, Bumble and bumble did the hair for the show and they had two looks, one was a bun folded under and the other was a half up do with crimped/wavy hair which I loved.
So, thats’s a wrap on my LFW posts – it was a great season as always, roll on February!
