I’m back with another ‘what’s in my bag’ post and this time I’m talking day festivals as opposed to camping (if you missed that post then check it out here). What I would pack for a weekend festival is so different from a day one as when you’re camping I feel like you need to be prepared for any situation, and you also have a mahoosive rucksack so you can take 3 lipsticks if you want to!

For a day festival I couldn’t image attending without this little lot (AKA the survival kit!) – so, some essentials include a mini deodrant, hand wipes, hairbands, kirby grips, and some hand sanitizer (I’ve opted for the Carex Strawberry Laces Hand Sanitizer as it smells amazing!) – all items like these can be picked up at your local Superdrug or Boots and always keep an eye out for any deals going on. I’ve also popped in a sample perfume spray – you can pick these up at any beauty counter and they are so convenient to keep in your bag rather than having to lug around a full size perfume!

First and foremost I’m going to start with sun screen as it’s so important, I’d suggest slathering yourself in it before you head off to a festival as after a few ciders you’re likely to forget about that kind of thing and it’s best to be protected. Even if it’s not a super hot day you can still get burnt – better to be safe than sorry! A favourite of mine is the Radical Skincare Skin Perfecting Screen SPF 30 it’s a factor 30 which is plenty (make sure you apply some to your face as well even if your foundation or base has an SPF). This sun screen is super lightweight and has a matte finish even if your skin is oily this is a great product for you, it’s a little on the pricey side but it’s one of those things we need to have and I’d recommend this one as for me it’s worth the price tag.

Now you’ve protected your face it’s time to protect your eyes – what better way than these pink Oxydo Sunglasses from Sunglasses Shop, pastel shade… check, oversized… check – I mean these glasses are my perfect pick for this summer and they look so nice on! I always like to take a compact or powder as my t-zone tends to get super shiny on days/nights out and this Clinique Moisture Surge Compact CC Cream does a great job as it has a mirror and sponge to touch up my makeup on the go! Lastly, I’m packing my Makeup Revolution Salvation Intense Lipgloss in shade ‘More Than I Can Give’  as it’s the perfect glossy pink/nude shade and great for a festival if you have some crazy hair/eye makeup going on!

What will you be packing for day festivals this summer? Spotted any of your favourites in this post?

This is such a useful post, I'll definitely be referring back to this next time I go to the beach or to a festival, plus I love the sound of the Strawberry Laces Hand Sanitizer!
