I’m going to be squeezing in a couple of beauty looks for my Festival Edit and thought what better way to start than a nail art tutorial – I tried to keep it super easy for you all as I’m no whizz when it comes to nail art but I love playing around with new designs and thought this one would be great fun for festivals! Keep an eye out for more Festival Edit beauty looks including some more nail looks as well as hair and makeup!

Step 1 – What I used for this look; BUTTER London ‘Cotton Buds’ Essie ‘DJ Play That Song’Essie ‘Ballet Slippers’, Nail dotter from Ebay. I thought the colours worked really well together but pick a combination that you love (It’s always best to get a black or white in there thought for the leopard print).

Step 2 – To start this look I painted my nails with three coats of Essie ‘Ballet Slippers’ which is the most perfect pale pink shade – I found the consistency wasn’t amazing so I gave it three coats but normally I’d just use two on my nails.

Step 3 – Leopard print is actually a lot easier to paint on your nails than it looks (trust me, I even did my right hand which I can never normally do!). The good thing with leopard print is that there’s no right or wrong when it comes to the print, I just googled ‘leopard print’ and went with the flow! I used a dotter to do my leopard print as I found it easier but a nail art brush would work just as well.

Step 4 – Lastly, using my dotter again I just added some white to the centre of any bigger bits of leopard print – any smaller bits leave just block colour as it’s nice to have a contrast. Voila your look is done, this whole look took me around 20/30 minutes which is great for prepping last minute festival nails (don’t forget to add a top coat to stop chipping over the weekend!)

Will you be attempting this look? I’d love to know how you found this tutorial!
