I hope you’re all having a lovely bank holiday weekend? Me and my best friend took a spontaneous trip to Leeds on Saturday as my boyfriend was working at the Tattoo convention there. We headed up Saturday afternoon and headed straight to Pizza Express for wine once we got there (it was just under four hours in the car so we deserved it, right?!). Saturday night we then headed out to this amazing bar which was filled with benches (and plenty of cool tattooed folk) – it sort of felt like an outdoors-indoors kind of bar. Anyway we drunk and danced all night until it was bed time!

Sunday it was raining in Leeds so we took ourselves off to the Trinity shopping centre to have a mooch around (I bought some bits and will film a haul later this week which will be on my YouTube channel – make sure you’ve subscribed here). We were so hungover and found this amazing burger restaurant called the Handmade Burger Co (my god if you are ever in the shopping centre you have to go it was bloody amazing!). We then drove home yesterday afternoon – the drive home involved a peanut butter Krispy Kreme dohnut. Yes we went there. And yes it was as amazing as you’re thinking.

Anywho, this week I shot one of my favourite summer outfits to share with you all – this beautiful daisy floral two-piece from Very! I’m really loving two-pieces right now as they make a great statement worn together but you always have that option of wearing them separate too for maximum wear. I paired my two-piece with this gold plated belt, some chunky black heels and my tassle bag for a summer/festival vibe. I added my Oasis circle sunglasses into the mix as they are so perfect (one of the arms got squished in my backpack to Thailand so I’ll be re-purhcasing them for sure!). I added some stacked rings as I didn’t think this outfit needed much jewellery and I opted for my half up-half down man bun (Jared Leto style).

How would you style this two-piece?

Love the print on your top/shorts and your shoes are amazing – I keep meaning to buy myself some like that. Leeds sounds fun although all your talk of burgers/doughnuts is making me hungry! xx
