I thought it had been a little while since I’ve shared a monthly makeup favourites with you all and its about time that I got back into the swing of things so I’m back with my April’s favourite products! I’ve been wearing the Estee Lauder Double Wear BB Cream pretty much everyday for the last two weeks and I love it so much, it’s super light weight but gives great coverage. My skin is playing up right now so I’m trying to avoid using foundations by giving my skin a break with some BB creams and this one is my got-to for sure! It’s also lasting me ages as you only need the smallest amount each time as a little goes a long way with this product.
Talking of BB creams I’ve been trialling the Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream for Eyes and am absolutely loving it so far, it’s designed for under eyes which is a handy product for me as I always get dark circles under my eyes. I’ve been popping this on in the morning to brighten my eyes and have been impressed with the results, it’s not too cakey and blends really well which I like – a greta handbag friend for tired days! To add a little warmth to my face I’ve been applying a dusting of the Kiko Essential Bronzer in ‘200 Warm Melange’ – which I’ve also discovered is a great way to add a quick bit of contouring to your face.
For blusher I’ve been really enjoying using the new Revolution Baked Blusher in ‘Loved Me The Best’ … first of all I have to comment on the fact that this product is a mere £2.50 which is such good value. Although it’s not good value if it’s a useless product – this one is far from is I can assure you. The shade is great and also quite pigmented so you only need to apply a little each time, this baby won’t be going anywhere for a while! To apply my blush & bronze I’ve been using the Eco Tools Tapered Brush which is a great multi use brush as it works great for sweeping your bronzer over your face or for working your blush into your cheeks – everybody loves a two in one brush!
I’ve been using the Clinique Lash Power Mascara this week and it’s my new current favourite! Clinique have to be some of my all time favourite mascaras with the ‘High Lengths’ and ‘High Impact’ being my ultimates! I’ve never been disappointed with a Clinique mascara and don’t think I ever will be – this one is an absolute dream to apply and creates more ‘everyday lashes’. Lastly I couldn’t decide which lipgloss was my favourite this month so I’ve picked two (don’t I spoil you guys!) the first being the new Loreal Glam Matte Intense Gloss ‘510 Cherry Crop’ which is being released in May and I genuinely haven’t stopped wearing lately! (I’ll be posting about this very soon!) and lastly the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in ‘Peach Club’ which I’m also loving and you can read a full review here.
Have you spotted any of your current favourites in this months post?
