Over the last few weeks I’ve been stashing away suitable products for my ‘mothers day gift guide’ and now it’s finally time to unveil my top picks to you all! I’ve tried to include a range of products from skincare to fragrance and everything in between as every mum will love something a little different from the next.
I’ve also tried to focus on various price points to cater to everyone’s budget, if you’re working to a budget then the Charles Worthington ‘Intense rescue melting balm’ and the Sanctuary ‘Body butter’ are both great choices and value for money. After all it’s not the value of the product but the thought that counts and if you’re mum loves a pamper evening then both of these products are great for her. If you’re mum is a haircare lover then why not go for the Ojon ‘Rare blend oil total hair therapy’ – slightly more pricey but it will last forever as you only need a small amount each time and the packaging also presents it as a lovely gift.
If you want to splash out a little more then a perfume is always a good shout as a girl can never have too many (I seem to go through them super quickly!). I’ve picked out the following three choices which are all beautiful fragrances; Elle L’Aime ‘Lolita Lempicka’, Lacoste ‘Sensuelle’, Victoria’s Secret ‘Bombshell’. However, if you’re wanting more for your money then why not go for a this lovely Calvin Klein gift set, Calvin Klein ‘Downtown’ 50ml gift set via Fragrance Direct – which is actually really great value for money also as you receive the body lotion too!
Fancy getting your mum some top skincare? Why not try the Jurlique ‘Sensorial roses replenishing collection’ featuring Rosewater balancing mist 100ml & Rose body oil 100ml – both full size products so this set is great value for money and it comes beautifully packaged in the mothers day limited edition gift box. The Rose body oil is a favourite Jurlique product of mine that I’d recommend anyone to give a go, a safe option for any mum. If your mum is looking for a core skincare product then I’d recommend this Estee Lauder ‘Idealist pore minimizing skin refinisher’ which I’ve been trialling for the past couple of weeks and have been really impressed by. Apply a few drops every evening and you will notice a difference within the month, I have quite oily/combination skin and have found this product perfect for me and I think it would make a lovely gift.
So, your mums a makeup maven? Then I have the perfect products for presents! First up is the Urban Decay ‘Naked skin liquid foundation’ – I’ve been using this product for a while now and it truly is a gem of a foundation, it’s super lightweight and doesn’t clog up your skin but it also gives great coverage at the same time. If your mum is a fan of a year round summer glow then this Clarins ‘Instant light radiance boosting complexion base’ is the perfect bronzer, it gives a subtle colour which can be built up gradually and is priced reasonably. The last makeup contender in my gift guide is this gorgeous Aerin ‘Winter colour palette’ which is for cheeks and eyes so a great all-rounder palette if your undecided on what to buy.
What will you be getting your mum this mothers day?
