So today is my first day of the #AlproAM challenge (aka Alpro almond mornings). I was contacted by the team at Alpro to see if I’d like to take part in the 7 day challenge, you have to create a different smoothie on each morning of the 7 days. I jumped at the chance to get involved as (in case you hadn’t already heard me harping on about it) I’m off to Thailand on Monday, eep! – and I thought it would be a great healthy way to end the week before we set off.
I have a bit of a thing for peanut butter and can’t get enough of it recently, when my sister in law recently posted that she was making a banana and peanut butter smoothie I just knew I had to make one! I used two scoops of whole earth peanut butter, 2 small bananas and 250g of Alpro almond milk… it was delicious! The banana was quite strong so I think I’d only use one next time, someone also just recommended to me on Twitter that is tastes great using frozen bananas too so I’ll be trying that next time.
