I’ve been stashing away my favourite red polishes for a while nail as I thought they would be great shades for Valentines day. Although red is a little cliche for Valentines and admittedly it’s nice to wear other colours, you can’t beat a striking red nail (or lip – post coming on that this week too!).
If you are looking for a colour with a bit of shimmer then the Butter London or Nails Inc one are the shades for you as they have a great sheen to them. If you’re adding some sparkle – whether it be on just one nail or all over then the Sally Hansen gem crush is the way forward.
These reds are really striking with some having more of a pink/orange hue and some being a bold red like the Sally Hansen all fired up and the Michael Kors polish in particular. Being a nail polish addict I have to confess that I have tried all of these polishes and love each and every one of them so much that I wanted to share them with you so you can find your perfect Valentines polish.
With all of these polishes under £15 each there is something for everyone, whether you want to splurge or save this V day! I’d love to know if you have tried any of these polishes or if any catch your eye?!
Also – over on my Instagram (@Frockmeimfamous) I’m doing a #14daysofvalentinesnails so if any of these reds don’t catch your eye then head over to see what alternative shades I’m featuring!
