DKNY Be Delicious City Blossom in ‘Urban Violet’

At the beginning of the week this basket full of treats landed on my doorstep (admittedly there was 3 cake pops in there too but neither me, my mum nor best friend were willing to let them hang around long enough to photograph – sorry about that!) First of all I’d just like to point out that the personalised storage basket that the perfumes came in is adorable and it already has a pride of place on my desk – also rammed full of beauties goodies no less.

Now the perfumes… so we all know and love the DKNY Be Delicious fragrance (well if you don’t then I carry your love of the perfume instead) but now DNKY have launched three new fragrances inspired by the ‘trending and growingly popular urban rooftop gardens that are a sanctuary for the New York girl-on-the-go’ – ooh la la.

A little on the fragrances…

DKNY ‘Rooftop Peony’ (pink)

Top notes: Mandarin, Bergamot, Pink lady apple blossom and Cassis.

Accents: Rose Absolute, Peony and Raspberry.

Base notes: Sandalwood, Amber and Reseda.

Overview: my least favourite of the three, this fragrance is a little too floral/girly for my liking.

DKNY ‘Empire Apple’ (green)

Top notes: American apple extract, Cucumber, Grapefruit and Magnolia.

Accents: Tuberose, White Muget, Rose and Violet.

Base notes: Sandalwood, Blonde wood and White amber.

Overview: a fresh updated version of the original fragrance, love this for everyday.

DKNY ‘Urban Violet’ (purple)

Top notes: Mandarin, Blackberry, Raspberry and Red delicious apple blossom.

Accents: Rose, Freesia and Violet.

Base notes: Sandalwood, Orris and Musk.

Overview: this fresh and fruity fragrance is easy to wear and my favourite of the collection.

Have you tried any of the new fragrances? I’d love to know which scent is your favourite?

I haven't tried any of these new fragrances yet but as a fan of DKNY Be Delicious scents, I'll definitely be checking these out. I'm especially curious about the Urban Violet one because I'm almost out of my Paco Rabanne ultraviolet perfume.
