HYATT REGENCY LONDON: THE CHURCHILL

Hyatt London Regency – The Churchill

Last Saturday night me and Rob spent the night away in London, we both have quite a busy schedule and we see each other several times throughout the week but it’s always nice to get away for a night or two and spend some quality time together as sometimes it just gets overlooked.

We stayed in the beautiful Hyatt Regency hotel – The Churchill, based in central London just off of Oxford street it’s the perfect location for a getaway. The hotel itself is breathtaking, from the outside it looks so elegant! The lobby is my favourite part of the hotel – especially at Christmas time when they have the most amazing tree up you have to walk by and take a look!

Rob didn’t get to the hotel until around 6 as he had work so I decided to head there earlier and spend the afternoon having a pamper session (which was amazing! I’ll also be blogging about that next week so keep an eye out). Upon arriving there was a chilled bottle of champagne and homemade macaroons waiting for us which was the nicest touch ever! We also had a welcome card waiting for us from the hotel manager, personal touches like that are what makes hotels like this one a cut above the rest.

After I’d spent the afternoon pampering myself, drinking champagne in the bath and lounging around listening to Heart FM (that sounds so old but it was actually really relaxing!) we headed down to The Montagu for dinner which is the hotels restaurant for the most amazing meal which was so so yummy – but to stop you from dribbling over your computer thinking about it i’m going to write up a separate post on that.

On the Sunday we took a stroll through Hyde Park to South Kensington where we visited the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum which was great, we then finished the day off with a trip to Bodeans before heading home.

All in all we had an amazing night away, it was nice just to relax and be together in the surroundings of a beautiful hotel. I have to also say that the hotel staff were incredible, the kind of staff that really go out of their way to help cater to our needs and it felt like they couldn’t do enough for us the whole time.

If you are ever looking to stay in central London I would highly recommend you check out The Churchill hotel as you won’t be disappointed! If you are interested you can take a look here.

If you have stayed previously then do let me know what you thought! 🙂

This looks absolutely beautiful, I'm looking for somewhere to go at the moment as my boyfriend and I now both have full time work, having graduated in June, so we need a getaway to reward ourselves and have some us time 🙂
