The finished look!

During London Fashion Week I was invited down to the Trevor Sorbie salon in Covent Garden for a wash, blow dry and style. As I mentioned in previous posts I was actually working this fashion week so I was really busy dashing between shows. On the day I went for a blow dry I got caught in the most horrendous downpour ever and got drenched… a la drowned rat style and it wasn’t cool!

Luckily I was on my way to my appointment as I got drenched so the amazing stylists at the salon were able to fix my hair for me! However, I had just over half an hour slot before I had to jump back on the tube and head to my next show so I went in there feeling gutted and thinking I would have to re-schedule when I was assured I would be walking out of the door in 40 minutes, and miraculously I was!

I was whizzed over for a hair wash (they even squeezed in an amazing head massage which nearly sent me to sleep!) then I had some Keratis oil rubbed into my hair which is for coloured hair and also sulphate free so this added lots of moisture. My hair was then blow dried and pinned up in rollers to help it dry curly by the amazing stylist Petros Cos.

Petros then used the diffuser over my hair to cool it down then he begun to take the curls out, brushed them out and spritzed my hair with hairspray. The result: Big bouncy curls and ridiculously shiny hair in under 45 minutes.. wow! And I have to say that I genuinely loved the look Petros created on me – so wished I could pull this look off myself, better get practicing!!

I was also kindly given a goody bag of products from the salon which I will be trying out this week and featuring in a separate blog post for a review so watch out for that 🙂

*Also!! Trevor Sorbie are offering my readers 25% off! Heres how: to claim the exclusive 25% off discount, readers need to telephone the Covent Garden salon before 1st October 2013 to make their appointment, and quote ‘Frock me I’m Famous’*
