Hair by: Bumble and bumble, lead stylist: Halley Brisker
Make up by: Liz Earle, lead artist: Lucy Burt
Yesterday I was lucky enough to go backstage for the Markus Lupfer show as I’m currently working with Chalk PR, the hair was being by styled by top Bumble and Bumble artists with head stylist Halley Brisker leading the team. The make up was lead by artist Lucy Burt and Liz Earle products were used to create all looks. I have to say that Halley and Lucy were very calm, professional and an absolute dream to work with… as well as being amazing at their jobs!!
The inspiration for hair and make up was ‘rebel schoolgirl’ – the idea of teenage girls experimenting with their hair and make up so each look was very youthful and playful at the same time. Each model varied slightly whether it be a dash of eyeliner or a piece of hair pinned back, but each and every one of them looked absolutely breathtaking!!
As for the clothes… well don’t get me started on those! I have to admit I’ve not seen much of Markus’s previous collections but this one bowled me over immediately! Me, Frankie and Claudia were swooning over cat jumpers, metallic A-line skirts and graphic floral print cut out dresses and trouser sets. I’m not quite sure which item i’ll be saving up for first?!
I’ve absolutely loved being backstage this LFW as it’s great to see the other side of the show, and trust me at times it gets so tense! Hopefully I’ll be bringing you more backstage snaps from the rest of the shows but until then happy fashion week! 🙂
P.S i’ll be tweeting live and uploading backstage images from Instagram from the Chalk PR account so be sure to follow us over at ‘Chalkbeauty’ for instant updates on shows!
