Most of you are probably aware that TRESemme are the official hair sponsors for this year’s Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model, some fab new products have been launched and styled by Lead UK Stylist Matthew Curtis to celebrate the shows.
When I received an e-mail to see if I wanted to try the new range I jumped at the chance! There was 3 ranges to choose from; 24 hour body, curl defining or texture. I really like the look that Matthew had created using the 24 Hour Body collection, I find that sometimes my hair can look quite lifeless and un-styled so i’m always looking for ways on how to create volume with my hair.
This range was perfect for my hair, I applied the mousse after towel drying my hair, I then mostly blow dried my hair upside down to add extra volume. I then added the final waves by using a large rounded brush to style my hair then lightly spritzed some hairspray to hold the look in place.
I was really pleased with the results and will definitely be buying these products again, I love the size of the products as they seem to last forever. The hairspray smells gorgeous and is a really great consistency… I hate hairsprays that are really strong and sticky!! Here are Matthews tip on how to re-create this look for yourself using the 24 Hour Body Amplifying mouse & Finishing hairspray…
1.) Apply TRESemme 24 Hour Body Amplifying Mousse to towel dried hair and run your fingers through it to create plenty of body.
2.) Using a medium sized round, soft bristle brush, blow dry your hair rolling it inwards around the brush starting at the nape of the neck.
3.) When blow drying the hair, keep the nozzle on to keep hair soft, whilst pointing it downwards and turn the brush in at the ends.
4.) After blow drying each section of hair, apply a medium sized roller to the ends and wrap the hair around it. To keep the volume in the ends and not so much at the root, take large sections of hair towards the top, so that your rollers do not come up higher than your ear.
