Afternoon lovelies!
Personally, I love a good gig – as well as being a festival lover I’ve watched various bands live such as Bloc Party, Two door Cinema Club, The Black Keys and mine and Rob’s next adventure will be Vampire Weekend at the end of June.
Now I heard on the grapevine that Fred Perry have launched a new campaign called ‘subculture’ where they engage new music talent from around the world and also showcase heritage brands that have a long standing relationship with the brand as Fred Perry is notoriously know for having an enduring relationship with subcultures throughout British history.
Continuing their incredibly successful series of SubSonic shows, where Fred Perry brings you the hottest new up and coming artists via their intimate sold-out shows. The most recent to perform was the much lauded King Krule. King Krule is based in South East London, representing local talent he is a very talented young man.
His first UK tour was a sell out and his status as ‘one to watch’ proves he’s going to be an act we need to keep our eyes on! I love to watch the progress of when an artist is first discovered to when they are being commended as a ‘one to watch’ as this is always a big deal. I will be keeping an eye on King Krule as I love the laid back vibe he gives off and his beautiful vocals. Global recognition has already started to spread and this performance of ‘Rock Bottom’ shows why he’s making such an impact.

Are any of you fans of King Krule? Are there any other up and coming artists that I should watch out for?
