Hope everyone has been well, sorry I’ve been a bit useless with blogging right now I have four weeks until my final major project is due in and life is just flying by! My project is looking great so far though and I’m so so happy with how its shaping up, I’ll do a blog post soon so I can share my project with you all! 🙂
Anywho, a few months back I decided to join my local gym with the intentions of shaping up for summer. I’m not putting myself on a full out diet because that doesn’t work for me, I don’t know about you but in my mind if I’m on a ‘diet’ I tend to crave bad food more so I have decided to make a few adjustments to my diet and just eat healthier and to work out more.
I’ve really been enjoying the classes at my gym, my favourites are Body Balance, Body Combat and Spin class, if I haven’t got much time then I tend to go for a quick 30-40 minute work out or a swim. For dinner I’m trying to eat more salad, vegetables, chicken and I’m also loving stir fries at the moment! They are so quick and easy to do it’s perfect when I’ve just crawled in from the gym and am wasting away… haha this is kind of what I do!
Now being a girl, and being from Essex I am a lover of wine, especially rose! Along with chocolate it’s probably my biggest weakness, it’s so high in calories too it now has to be a treat. Recently I got an e-mail asking if I would like to try some 0% alcohol wine-style drink which has only 24 calories per glass, for me this is the perfect replacement whilst I’m trying to eat healthy. It’s a perfect healthy alternative to wine and it still tastes great!
I have tried both of these drinks and they are both really tasty and refreshing, the rose one will be perfect on a summers day with some ginger ale and sliced strawberries as a nice long drink. The white one I think will be perfect with summer BBQs. Sorelle is only £3.49 a bottle which is cheaper than normal wine but still reasonably priced, it is available from Tesco nationwide.
I’ll keep you all updated on how my healthy eating is going as I’m aiming to loose half a stone by this summer, I’ll definitely be drinking Sorelle as a low calorie alternative to keep me refreshed on those hot summer days.
Have you tried Sorelle before? Do you have any tips on healthy eating?
