CLARINS SS13 MAKE UP PREVIEW

Hope your all well this monday morning and had a lovely weekend! :) I was lucky enough to review some beauties from the new Clarins SS13 make up collection and wanted to share my thoughts on the products with you...

*Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in shade 10 'Iris Blossom'

I'm not a massive eyeshadow wearer as my everyday make up I usually keep my eyes quite natural and wear lipstick. On nights out I sometimes go for nude lips and smokey eyes to mix it up a bit, so I'm definitely looking forward to experimenting with this palette!

I have swatched all of these colours which are absolutely beautiful, I have to say my favourite are the mink brown and the navy. Although, the white will be a great highlighter for just under your eyebrows! I'm really excited to try these eye colours out together and see if I can create a smokey eye look using all four colours which will be fun! :)

*Palette Eclat- Face & Blush powder

Well... I'm not entirely sure where to start with this beauty?! This powder/blush combo is by far the prettiest that I have ever come across! Clarins have got it right again for another season! :)

It looks so gorgeous on as well, it's quite subtle with tints of peach so it looks perfect if your going for dark eyes or bold lips! I have tested this product out several times now and it goes on like a dream! 

Left: *Rouge Eclat in shade 06 'True Aubergine' Right: *Rouge Eclat in shade 01 'Nude Rose' I have to admit, these lipsticks are an absolute dream! They are quite creamy and really easy to apply, the colour is also quite pigmented which is great as you don't have to keep re-applying it throughout the day as it will last from your morning make-up application. I'm really loving dark red lipsticks right now as they are the perfect shades for these winter months, so I'm particularly loving the True Aubergine and have received so many compliments when wearing it! The Nude Rose I find is great for more natural looks as it quite understated and looks great with a slight smokey eye! :) I'm also a massive fan of the Clarins make up range as the collection always looks so pretty as they are packaged to perfection! I love the red velvet pouch that the eye shadow palette and the blush powder comes in as it just makes the collection look so elegant! What's your favourite piece from the collection?
