1.) Sloane gardens 2.) Bruton Mews 3.) Sloane Square 4.) Chester Street 5.) Chelsea Embankment
Last week I attended the Nails Inc SS13 press day in central London with some of my favourite bloggers ZoeLily & Maria! I also got the chance to meet some of my favourite beauty bloggers which was amazing! <3
They had a pick’n’mix for nail varnishes at the event where you could pick your favourite five polishes, so here’s what I chose…
1.) Sloane Gardens is a dark glittery blue, in the picture above I used two coats and my nail is completely covered which is great. I have used glitter polishes before that are so thin and if you want to just wear glitter it takes ages to layer up! I also really love this shade and think it will be the perfect party shade this winter if you want to add some sparkle to your outfit!
2,) Bruton Mews is a gorgeous dark forest green. This isn’t normally a shade that I would go for but I was really curious to try it, and I have to admit that I love it! Along with oxblood, dark green is a great winter shade. It’s quite unusual for a nail varnish so keep an eye out for this one. In the picture I only have one coat on, it’s nice and thick and only needs one layer which is great if you don’t have long.
3.) Sloane Square is my absolute favourite from the five that I chose and I can definitely see myself wearing this loads this season! I used two coats and the coverage is perfect, its also a 3D glitter and has an amazing finishing effect. Can’t rate this polish enough, I will definitely be re-buying! πŸ™‚
4.) Chester Street is a really lovely nude shade, perfect for everyday as it’s quite an understated colour but it will go with everything. The shade has a slight pearl shine to it which is a really nice touch. This polish will get used lots for everyday nails.
5.) Chelsea Embankment is an amazing gold glitter polish and probably the best Christmas shade this season. In the picture I have painted my whole nail in the polish but I’m really looking forward to experimenting with this varnish as it will look great as glitter tips over some black. I’ll keep you posted on the looks I create with this shade!
Here are some snaps from the press day of what to expect from SS13…
