Hey Lovlies!
SO sorry for the severe lack of posting this week! I’m off on half term so i’ve pretty much been working everyday and attending lots of press day so I haven’t found the time to blog! Just to warn you, there shall be lots of posts in the next few days! πŸ™‚
Anyway… here is my last blogger interview that I have to share with you.. boo! I have really enjoyed interviewing all four lovely bloggers and they were all a great help in putting together my article.  Thank you πŸ™‚
Here is Lauren’s interview from which you can check out here if you haven’t visited her blog before.
Lauren only started her blog in September 2011 and has had a lot of success and recognition since, her blog was nominated for the ‘Best New Fashion Blog’ at the Cosmopolitan blog awards and Lauren also designs blog layouts for other bloggers which you can view here.
Lauren is one of the loveliest and most genuine bloggers that I have encountered since I started blogging a few months ago, she was happy to help with my project and I found her answers really inspirational for my own blog and personal life!
Hope this interview has the same effect for you…

Where do you get your ideas
and inspiration from
I guess my inspiration
comes from other bloggers. I never try to ’emulate’ the way that any one
blogger dresses but I am always in awe of the consistency and quality of their
blog posts, they inspire me to put more of an effort into my blog.
How did your blog get picked
up/ become so well known?
I know that this won’t
be much help but I genuinely have no idea. I guess it’s because I’m friendly
with a lot of other bloggers and I always go out of my way to reply to everyone
who makes the effort to leave me a comment on a post/tweet/email/question. I
think a lot of the success that you can experience as a blogger is determined
by how genuine you are with your readers. Honesty is always the best policy
when it comes to having a successful blog.
What is it that makes your
blog different from others so that people want to read it?
To be completely honest with
you, I don’t think it’s massively different to anyone else’s blog out there! My
layout stands out and it’s instantly recognisable as one of ‘my’ designs. I
know that if I come across a blog with a beautiful design, I instantly want to
read on, no matter what the genre! I also really try to connect with my readers
and get them involved, I ask them questions/engage in conversation with them
and I keep everyone posted on not just my outfits but my personal life,
too (to an extent!)
Does it put a lot of pressure
on you to write knowing that so many people follow you/are interested in your
I try not to think that I have
over 2000 readers on various following platforms, the last time I did I became
so overwhelmed by the fact that I stopped blogging for four months! In answer
to your question though, I don’t feel any pressure because I just don’t think
about my following in terms of numbers. It would probably put me off if I did.
None of my readers have ever pressured me into posting which I’m
very grateful for and they’ve always been an amazing source of support
if I’ve ever felt down about anything, whether that be my personal life or
What is the best freebie that
you’ve ever been given/ event that you’ve been invited to due to blogging?
The best freebie I have ever received
was an absolutely gorgeous Dahlia dress and the best event I have ever been to
was the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards in October πŸ™‚
Really hope you all enjoyed reading Lauren’s interview as much as I enjoyed putting it together for you!
You can view Lauren’s blog here, if you haven’t already had the chance to!
I have lots of press day blog posts coming up and am thinking about doing an outfit post soon due to amount of positive feedback I had from the last, so keep your eyes peeled! πŸ™‚
